Jai Hind! Recent reports about the removal of various colonial traditions within the Indian armed forces has been discussed by all of us. There is an effort to remove some non-Indian traditions and replace them with more practical indigenous traditions within the Indian Army, the Indian air Force and the Indian Navy. There are reports about the Army Day celebrations being moved out of Delhi and similar reports about the Air Force Day celebrations being conducted in other parts of the country. These changes in the Indian armed forces traditions that have been ongoing since Independence. What would be the impact of these changing traditions.
