Jai Hind! India Pakistan 1971 war was the time that India created another country in response to the Pakistani aggression towards the people of the erstwhile East Pakistan. This war resulted in the largest surrender after the second world war of 93,000 Pakistani soldiers who laid down their arms on 16 December 1971. The war was fought both East and West comprising of some very daring actions by the Indian army Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy resulting in a total defeat and loss of morale for the Pakistani and forces. The Indian army led by Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw crossed into Bangladesh and captured the entire country within 13 days. This war had some very daring actions taken up by all the three forces both in the East and West putting great pressure on Pakistan which resulted in a public surrender by General AAK Niazi the Eastern Army Commander of Pakistan.
