Jai Hind! Multilateralism is something that India has pursued since its independence after it started the non-aligned movement along with the newly independent nations of the world. India today is that finds its self in a precarious position faced off with China and in the middle of a growing Cold War between the United States and China. The world is being divided once again into camps and India’s efforts towards maintaining a balance between both the warring factions is difficult but required. This discussion came about during the time of the visit of the Russian president lad Amir Putin to India in early December. The closeness and military cooperation with the United States as well as purchase of weapons and weapons systems from Russia is a clear example of multilateralism something that India has tried to follow. Here I discuss with Air Marshal Khosla the way forward for India.
