Jai Hind! The unsettled situation in Punjab is a matter of concern for the national security of this country. Having a past experience with Pakistan sponsored insurgency in Punjab the current events showcase a similarity in terms of events and the support from across the border in Pakistan. Pakistan has since the late 1980s get the Khalistan issue alive waiting for the right time to push forward. With the disturbance in Jammu and Kashmir not in favour of Pakistan as well as the divisive politics, influence of drugs and internal people factors becoming unsettled in Punjab, Pakistan has taken up the task of once again recognising the Khalistan issue. The large quantities of weapons drugs and explosives being smuggled across the border by the use of drones has been on the rise for the past sometime. This is a matter of concern and I discuss it in great detail.
