Jai Hind! With the recent launch of India’s nuclear submarine it shows a increasing capability of Aatmanirbharta in the defence sector in India. Submarines have different types like the SSBN SSN & SSK. I try and analyse what is the current status of Indian underwater capability and the future plans. We also discuss the threat from China towards the Indian Ocean and what India needs to do to counter and deal with the threat. India must dominate the Indian Ocean region to ensure Chinese interests of hegemony are kept out of this region.
