With the coming of Taliban in Afghanistan Pakistan would have hoped to have some semblance of control over the country by backing its proxies in the Haqqani Network. In reality Pakistan has face increasing number of attacks from the Taliban supported TTP as well as many other separatist groups operating within the region.
