A HAIR-BRAINED SCHEME OR A STROKE OF GENIUS
Ever since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Russian energy is a subject of a daily debate in the west. The want of it to the sanction of it, this essential has seen itself being politicised and even weaponised. The politics showcases a weakness in strategic thought which has today resulted in a global crisis.

Russia is a gas station masquerading as a country – A western understanding of the Russian economy before the war. The War in Ukraine has brought about a change in the understanding of energy supply and the countries that supply it. Russian oil has been at the tip of all conversations since February and countries that are still importing this oil and gas are being looked at as the supporters of all the wrong that takes place on the ground in Ukraine. Forbes recently called India a “chameleon” for increasing its oil imports from Russia and not taking a stand against Russia, an aftereffect of the disappointment felt by the globalist establishment. The understanding about National Interests seem to be only limited to the “Garden” while the “Jungle” is supposed to bury its interest for the “greater good”.
Countries in the collective west at the beginning wowed to drastically reduce their dependance on Russian energy, in words but in practice a different situation emerged. Looking at the direct purchases within Europe we saw the landlocked countries like Slovakia and Hungary not changing their behaviours while countries like Poland, Germany and Finland started to reduce their imports of Russian Oil. The agreement with regard to a future course did not materialise till October when the G 7 agreed to an oil price cap. Even then, we saw countries seeking waivers to this rule due to domestic reasoning. The current oil price cap at 60$ is to ensure Russia oil keeps flowing into the market, this being a dynamically opposite position to the narrative of the Russian Oil Ban. The west tried to showcase unity in its stand towards Russian oil but governments threatened by internal strife have not been able to meet the demand of the Globalists. The 60$ limit itself showcases a weakness in resolve as the fear of a complete blockage of energy by Russia would be reminiscent of the energy crisis of the 70s. Europe’s ban on crude oil imports from Russia, the world’s biggest oil exporter, is a genuine sanction, aiming to force Moscow to reroute supplies and halt the ugly optics of allies of war-torn Ukraine funnelling petrodollars to Vladimir Putin.
The west points out India as a curious case who in principle supports an end to the hostilities and also is increasing its purchase of Russian oil by leaps and bounds. The External Affairs Minister of India called out the hypocrisy of the west on many occasions but seldom was he heard by the holders of the narrative in the media. India was supported by the leadership of major western powers while the narrative and media recrimination continues. This is interesting knowing full well that a lot of the Russian Oil imported by India was being processed and redirected towards the United States and countries in the EU. There were further reports of China redirecting gas towards Europe as well. The European scramble around the world’s “gas stations” to be able to fill up their gas reserves for the winter and to try and meet the requirements for oil and gas showcased a haphazard thought process. The whole process of an oil cap seems to be more of an exercise of going through and making that announcement rather than a larger unified game plan to influence oil supplies from Russia. The EU scramble also had the US making moves especially before the mid terms to stabilise the prices back home. The trip made by Biden to Saudi and the easing of restrictions on Venezuelan oil along with the failed attempt at negotiations with Iran are a showcase of the desperation to stabilise and insulate themselves from higher prices.
In times of crisis there are those who look out for an opportunity to make a quick buck. This was the allegation by French President Macron and Von Der Leyen, President of the EU who threatened retaliation towards the US. Interestingly, while the collective west debated the oil price cap, the volatility in the market kept the prices high and ensured Russian coffers were receiving more than what they were before the war. The contradictory and changing stands taken by the west which went from “we won’t buy Russian oil and gas” to “we won’t allow anyone to buy beyond 60$” shows us there would be more changes to this stand in the future. These hasty moves made are also being watched carefully by the oil cartel, OPEC, who probably is also going to look at diversifying its outflows to ensure protection of its interests. Just to mention the OPEC countries themselves for their profitability at home are buying Russian oil.
As our EAM statements on the perception of issues in Europe are world issues and the worlds issues are not European issues should have sent a clear message to the globalists.t for them to learn about us when they don’t learn about their own countries. A statement of this sort was given by the Foreign Minister of Germany a while ago, where she proudly showcased her lack of empathy for Germans and called it a sacrifice for the greater good, as long as the Ukrainians were being supported and supplied. But alas, what can one expect from keepers of globalism, who are oblivious of their own countries to understand the stand taken by India. The problem at this time would be to see who breaks first. The one that does will be followed by a host of others looking to salvage their own requirements. The recent news about the suspected Coup allegedly being planned by 50-60 people in Germany is interesting, as it showcases the nervousness of the German establishment with the growing discontent within the people about the ongoing deindustrialization of Germany.
The world has been subjected to a narrative propagated by the advocates of globalism, where only the gospel given by them is the one to follow. This, for the benefit of a few, is the way to the global order and the rest as was said are a “jungle”as it is, sounds so similar to the so called white mans burden as the past. This, not realising one major flaw in the plan that vast swathes of Russian Oil actually sells below the price cap limit and at the day of this decision it was at 56$.
God Bless Us !!!!!
